Re: Alas, Gilneas! Pacer info (recovered)

Postby Thomas Jarington » December 17th, 2014, 6:28 pm

Pacer tonight: 9-11pm Central Time
Location: Desolace
Level: 30

It's true! 14 months and 30 levels - completely IC RP exploration. Oh the fun that can be had when gear is not the goal.

However, I will be unable to attend tonight due to an illness in the family. Please, please continue onward without me. I will catch up. The Elves sent us there to check on relics, though the original impetus for choosing Desolace was: 1) the regrowth in the zone [Jake} 2) the demons still there [Percy}

Have fun storing the castle, boys!

Your family is in my thoughts tonight. I hope the illness is not too serious.

Thanks, Dash. Much appreciated. She (elderly mo-in-law) was released from the hospital today after four days in, and things are looking up.

No worries about last night, Rik. It's one of those times of the year where many things come together at once. I would think that the next two weeks will be a challenge to gather the group. We'll play it by ear and take it week to week. Good luck on the finals!

I can tell you with definite certainty I won't be there next Wednesday, what with it being Christmas Eve.

Ah, yes. Christmas Eve. Okay, the following Wednesday will be New Year's Eve. Therefore, let's call it until the new year.

Pacer will resume Wednesday, Jan 7th. Same time, same wolf channel. Happy Holidays, everyone!

It's sad to have to take such an extended break, but at the same time I'm glad to not have to worry about it while I could be spending time with family. Have a good holiday season, everybody!

Exactly. Besides, we're at a good place to take a break. It was a hectic dash to Desolace, and now we can regroup and prepare for another year of pacer. Use the time to consider what motivated your character to come here, where they want to go. Jake can certainly press forward in a 'save the trees' type of mode, yet I don't want him to be the group's motivational driver.

The demon presence is up Percy's alley, and was why I had us experience a bit of the old god stuff in Ashenvale.

So, have a happy holiday season as we take a mid-season break, enjoy time with family and friends and we'll see you in Desolace in 2015!

Pacer tonight: 9-11 Central time. Location is where we left off in Desolace. If you are unable to attend, please reply to the post, as I have some things that need my attention tonight. Therefore, if we are not going to be at least three, then I will call it off and tend to those. However, for the sake of the group (and three weeks off), I have reserved the time for Alas, Gilneas!

Hope to see everyone and Happy New Year, my furry friends!

Like I said, please RSVP on this page as soon as possible. Thanks!
